Text Box: Hoka Hey Warriors, Text Box:    The earth is stirring and we are fast approaching the light half of the year.  Since the dawn of man, Beltane has always heralded change, hope, and new beginnings.  So it will be this year at Th' Gatherin' Text Box: During one of the darkest days since we last Gathered, a tragic accident befell Kirk Spell.  I need not tell you of the unselfish devotion this warrior always exhibited to his friends and fellow warriors.  Now it is our turn to exhibit the same love and devotion to Kirk, Mollie and Levi.  They have many special needs to conquer the challenges in the days ahead. Text Box: Therefore the Aos Dana has declared that the games at Th' Gatherin 2007 will be a "TRIBUTE TO KIRK SPELL".  "Th' Right Tae Wield Th' Sword" will be used to raise funds for this Warrior and his family. Text Box: Th Aos Dana, also has vowed that "Th Celtic Magic", that has slowly been disappearing at Th' Gatherin" over the last few years, must return.  Th' Warriors Feast Tent, which was once a place of camaraderie, boasting, challenging, dancing, storytelling, had turned into a tent of 500 plus hungry people just wanting to eat.  The number of celts allowed in the tent will be reduced. Text Box: No longer will there be any "judges or score keeper" on th field.  You compete, you keep score, and when you come to th tent, you tell us who was the best warrior on th' field that day.  If you set a new record, you tell us and we will honor you.  If you haven't decided when you come to the tent, then "Th'  Wallace Sword" will decide the victor. Text Box: When you come, bring sheafs and iron and you might bring some extra meat for the cooking fires on Friday night.
